Vintage "Rose Medallion" Plates

Item Details

A collection of nine vintage porcelain Rose Medallion dinner plates. These items have been hand painted in polychrome enamels in the Rose Medallion style which features a center medallion surrounded by alternating panels of figures, birds and flowers with dominant colors of pink and green. They are marked to the underside, ‘Japan China Decorated in Hong Kong.’

Condition

- faint surface marks from prior use; wear and minor lost to enamels; light wear to gilding.
