An oil painting on canvas by American artist Luzon. This piece depicts a kneeling warrior with sword and shield in front of a horse, painted in the style of early human cave paintings in dark brown on a yellow ground. The imagery is painted with a heavy impasto and carving into the paint. It is signed to the lower left and presented in a black painted wood frame with wire to the verso for hanging.

- slight scuffing to frame; minor loss of paint to surface of piece.
