A pair of hand colored photographs by Wallace Nutting. These two photographic prints depict vibrant rural landscapes which have been rendered to idealized compositions through vibrant hand tinting. These photographic prints are signed ‘Wallace Nutting’ to the lower right corner margins and are titled to the lower left. Titles include ‘An Apple Arch’ and ‘The Birch Curve’. These pieces are presented in wooden frames and under glass.

Condition

- warping to paper; foxing; toning; stain to upper right corner of “The Birch Curve”; wear to corners and edges of frames; extensive surface damage to frame of “The Birch Curve”; a wire hanger is present to one print, but is missing on the second.

- measures frame of “An Apple Arch”; visible image measures 9.5"W x 7"H.
