1888 Royal Worcester Aesthetic Movement Porcelain Vase

Item Details

An antique porcelain vase by Royal Worcester in the style of the Aesthetic Movement. This vessel is molded with a prunus root motif to the rim and shoulder and a pair of pierced, applied handles. The bulbous body is hand-painted with a cluster of pansies, trimmed with gilt moriage. A band of petals in relief meets the footed base. The piece is marked with a purple logo to the underside indicating production in 1888.
