Wagner Oil Painting of Wading Crane
Item Details
An oil painting on masonite of a wading crane by P. Wagner. This painterly image depicts a long legged white crane wading in shallow water in a tropical setting. Broad fan-like leaves fill the background, above an exposed tree root reflectingin the pond. The work is signed in the lower left ‘P. Wagner’. It is presented in a gilded wood frame with a white linen liner. There is a hanging wire mounted to the verso.

- minor wear to edges and corners of frame; finish loss to upper right side of fillet.
