Mid-Century Stangl Pitcher and Plates

A selection of mid-century Stangl pottery. This four piece group features a pitcher in the Provincial pattern, decorated with red flowers and yellow and brown leaves. The pitcher is marked ‘VII Stangl Pottery Trenton, N.J. Provincial’ to the underside. Also included are a pair of Sun Pebbles saucers with yellow and brown bands, marked ‘Hand Painted Stangl Trenton, N.J. Since 1805 Sun Pebbles’. The group also comes with a bread and butter plate in the Country Life pattern, decorated with a rooster and yellow and brown bands.
Condition
- minor discoloration and marks; a few small chips and a stain to bread and butter plate; decal residue to one saucer.
