An antique chromolithograph print. This late 19th century print depicts a rooster, hen, and several young chicks remaining just out of the reach of a nearby dog, emerging from a hole in the wood door. The work is signed illegibly in-plate in the lower right. It is presented under glass in a wood frame with a gold tone liner. There is a hanging wire mounted to the verso.

- fair amount of dust and accretions to composition and frame; rusting to plastic liner; cracking, scratches, and dents to frame; dust and debris
