Item Details
A wooden advent calendar box frame by Thomas Kinkade, Painter of Light. This box frame features a scene depicting snow-covered homes at dusk nestled among trees with a stone bridge crossing a gentle river. The red wooden frame houses twenty-four numbered doors with storage compartments for each day of the month of December leading up to Christmas Day. The calendar comes with twenty-three painted figures with magnetic backs to be placed within each numbered box of the calendar and later opened to be placed on the magnetic central scene. It is marked “Thomas Kinkade Painter of Light’ to the front pediment and signed in print to the lower left corner of the scene.
Condition
- one figure missing; four figures are detached from magnets, but magnetics are included for reattachment.
- minor marking throughout to be expected with age and use.
