In Plate
A hand-colored print on paper by artist Mads Stage (1922-2004). This piece depicts a town square lined with colorful buildings, a group of children kicking around a red ball to the composition’s lower right corner. The work is illegibly titled and signed in plate to its lower right and is double-matted behind glass in a wooden frame with a gold tone fillet and a wire for hanging. There are notations of the artist’s name to the verso of the frame.

- fair; moderate discoloration to image and matting; minor wear to frame.
