An assortment of vintage advertisements, comic strips and other ephemera dating from the 1930s through the 1950s. This collection of over one hundred items features several full-page magazine advertisements for automobile brands such as Mercury, Plymouth and Packard, including some color advertisements. Other highlights include the a 1922 Denver in Early Days newspaper published by the Colorado National Bank to commemorate the city’s sixtieth anniversary, a color newspaper advertisement with Bing Crosby endorsing Philco phonographs, comic strips such as Sad Sack, and more.
Condition
- to fair; page yellowing, particularly of newsprint; some uneven edges where clipping was cut or torn from publication; some creasing and minor tears; general light wear; all pieces presented in plastic sleeves with cardboard backing.
