The hand painted porcelain figurine features a depiction of a mother gazing lovingly into her child’s face. She is dressed in an elegant gown and seated on a scrolling pedestal next to a jardiniere filled with flowers. The figurine has gold tone painted accents and is presented on a stepped rectangular wood base with a mahogany finish and gold plaque marked ‘G. Armani’. It is dated 1988 with maker’s marks to the lower edge.
