An acrylic painting on canvas titled The First Snow by listed American artist Stella C. Coler (1892 – 1992). This painting depicts a snowy scene of farm buildings clustered under winter-bare trees with a split-rail fence around a field in the foreground. The piece is signed by the artist to the lower right and includes a hand-written information label to the verso. It is presented in an ornate wooden frame with a hanging wire to the verso.
