Currier and Ives Puzzle Print

A framed Currier and Ives puzzle print titled the ‘The Bewildered Hunter,’ was once part of a 1954 wall calender published by The Travelers of Hartford, Connecticut. This whimsical work of art depicts a hunting scene of a man with his dog but also features hidden images that blend into trees and rocks of the picture. The inscription at the bottom of the print reads ‘Entered according to act of Congress in the year 1872 by Currier and Ives in the office of librarian of congress at Washington.’ Housed in a thin black frame.

Condition

The matting shows warping. The print under the matting show foxing.
