Vintage Franz Anton Mehlem Royal Bonn German Floral Vase

Item Details

A vintage Royal Bonn of Germay ceramic vase by Franz Anton Mehlem. This vase has a long, slender neck, which tapers to form a rounded body raised on a scroll footed base. It features a hand-painted multicolored floral pattern to the white glazed body and neck, as well as an embossed blue vine that wraps around the body and neck and terminates to the slightly scalloped and flared lip. The underside is stamped with a red Franz Anton Mehlem maker’s mark used between 1890 and 1920, along with the series of number ‘2991 3059 141’ in blue.

Condition

- crazing throughout; light discoloration; some pieces of blue vines broken off.
