Sylvia Musical Carousel Cigarette or Lipstick Holder

Item Details

A vintage Sylvia musical carousel cigarette or lipstick holder. The ornate piece features a white and pink floral pattern to the entirely metallic gold form with gilt scroll and beaded accents throughout. A cherub playing a lute adorns the pointed finial and the stepped base rests on three feet in the form of exaggerated bearded faces. There is a button to one side that opens the concealed compartments lined with red felt that can house cigarettes or lipstick. The piece is marked ‘Sylvia’ to the label.
