A sterling silver flatware set by Gorham. This is in the William C. Codman designed Etruscan pattern, first introduced in 1913, which features a flared handle with a Greek key accented tip. The 137-piece set includes twenty-four forks in two sizes, twelve butter spreaders, twenty-four teaspoons, twelve soup spoons, twelve iced tea spoons, twelve pastry forks, eight salad forks, four tablespoons, a salad serving fork and spoon, a meat fork, a ladle, and a sugar spoon. They are presented with twenty-four knives in two styles that have stainless blades and sterling hollow handles. Each piece has a maker’s mark and is marked ‘Sterling’. The total approximate weight, excluding knives with stainless blades, is 122.280 ozt.
