Vintage Satire Leuchtenberg Coffee Cup and Saucer
Item Details
A vintage porcelain coffee cup and saucer from the first half of the 20th century. These pieces feature a satirical design depicting a jovial man in a suit next to the words ‘I am not greedy but I like a lot’ in script with scrolling accents throughout. The cup and saucer offer molded scroll and beaded patterns to the white porcelain with fainted pink accents to the edges. The saucer displays scalloped edges while the round handle has a kick to the top. Items were made in Germany and are marked ‘Leuchtenberg’ to the underside which has been attributed to Lehmann & Son.
