An oil painting on canvas of an impressionistic landscape by listed South Korean artist L. Stephano (b. 1948). Characterized by loose textural impasto, pastel hues, and suppressed detail, this work features a large marshy swamp surrounded by a dense forest area to the right and some town buildings faintly visible in the distance; a single figure standing in the left foreground is visible among the hazy Tonalist atmosphere. The painting is faintly signed ‘L. Stephano’ to the lower right. It is presented in a decorative gilt and gesso wood frame.
