A silver-plated flatware set by Wm Rogers Mfg. Co. This is in the Grand Elegance pattern, first introduced in 1959, which features a shaped handle with flower, acanthus leaf, and scroll accents. The set includes eight dinner knives, seven dinner forks, seven salad forks, eight place spoons, fourteen teaspoons, and a serving spoon, most marked ‘Wm Rogers Mfg. Co. Extra Plate’ to the backs. They are presented with a butter knife by National Silver Co. and a stainless pie server by Hampton Court, which both are in different patterns and styles. The set comes in a wooden flatware chest with red felt-like interior lining.
