Item Details

A three piece Savonarola Italian folding chess table and folding chairs and original chess pieces. This wonderful game set features a tooled leather reversible table top with a chess board on on side and backgammon on the other. The two Savonarola chairs feature carved lion head arm rests and a removable carved crest that acts as a brace when in place. This set comes with the original game pieces in a felt lined storage depicting Romanesque figures.

Condition

Wear consistent with age. Two of the chess pieces have broken heads and one of those is missing the head.
