A Bulova Smithsonian Collection mantel clock. The clock is made of a mahogany wood case with a wooden castle design that features a dial inspired by the Gothic Rose window at the Smithsonian. The dial features a white face with black Roman numerals and serpentine hands and is set behind a glass front door with a decorative black and gilded design. Other features of the clock include a brass pendulum, Westminister chimes, a battery compartment and the clock stands on a plinth style base with egg and dart molding. The clock is labeled ‘Bulova’ on the face and ‘Smithsonian’ on a gold-tone plaque.

Condition

- untested, minor surface indents around bottom base and top edges.
