Item Details
A 1970 oil painting on canvas by American artist Gil McCue. The piece depicts a maritime landscape scene with a historic stone lighthouse set against seaside rocks, blue currents and partially overcast skies. The work is signed and dated by hand to the lower left. It is presented without glass in a wooden frame with hanging wire mounted to the verso.
Condition
- to fair; painting has areas of craquelure and the varnish is discolored; white liner is stained chipped and discolored; scratches and abrasions to the frame.
