An expertly crafted replica of an antique 19th century style horse child’s tricycle featuring a hand painted carved horse with glass eyes and horse-hair tail. The wonderful horse form features a leather tooled saddle with stirrups and is mounted on a pierced cast iron base with acanthus leaf designs. The velocipede features turned wood handlebars, metal wheels with spokes and foot.

Condition

Visible crack along the side and loss of paint. One of the handles has loss of wood.
