An antique Victorian walnut and upholstered parlor chair. The chair features a serpentine-shaped top rail with a carved and pierced crest over two arms with upholstered rests and paw handholds flanking the padded seat. The chair rises on front cabriole legs with carved knees joined by a shaped apron featuring a carved flourish. The chair is newly upholstered in a floral stripe cotton blend fabric with matching double-piped trim. The front legs are on casters. There are no visible maker’s marks.

- upholstery is in good condition, the wood frame has minor markings throughout and small gaps
