An embroidered banner commemorating Ireland by an unknown artist. This piece includes many of the traditional symbols of Ireland. At the center of the composition is a circular badge with symbols representing the four provinces of Ireland surrounded by the slogan, Erin Go Bragh, which roughly translates to Ireland Forever. The central motif is surrounded by four green banners decorated with a stoat, Celtic cross, and several musical instruments. At the base of the composition, there are two pink banners which read God Save Ireland. This piece is presented behind glass and in a burled wood frame with a gold-tone liner. The verso of this piece is equipped to hang.
