Item Details
An oil painting on canvas of a still life by Violet de Mazia (possibly Violette de Mazia). This carefully-rendered piece depicts fruit and a basket of eggs on a green tabletop, a pair of glossy vessels resting behind them. The painting is signed to its lower left corner, and is mounted in a wooden frame with a textile hanger and a hanging wire to its verso.

- craquelure present throughout painting; toning and foxing on canvas liner portion of frame; surface abrasions and wear to edges of frame; discoloration, foxing, and debris on verso of canvas.
