A shin-hanga style woodblock print on paper titled Drawing Up Sea Water Under Moonlight by well-listed Japanese artist Takahashi Shōtei (高橋松亭, 1871–1945). This piece depicts a nocturne seascape with trees and figures on a beach under a moonlit sky. The artist’s ‘Shotei’ seal is printed along the left edge and signed in pencil by an unknown hand. It is presented unframed, under a mat.

- to fair; discoloration and foxing to paper and mat; wear to edges and corners of mat.
