An oil painting on canvas by C. Schipper of a coastal seascape. The realistic work depicts waves crashing into a rocky shoreline beneath a cloudy sky. The piece is signed by hand to the lower left and presented in a gold tone wood frame with a hanging wire on the verso.
Condition
- moderate discoloration to image; crease to canvas along top edge of painting; two light scratches to image surface at center; mild wear to frame; craquelure.
