A 20th-century oil painting on canvas of a pastoral landscape, signed ‘Brenner’. This work features a rural area with a pond in the foreground, surrounded by lush green trees and a small cottage in the middle-ground. A single figure carrying water pails walks along the dirt path on the right. The painting is signed to the lower right. It is presented in a wood frame with a canvas liner and a bronze-tone sight edge.
Condition
- small chip in paint to lower right central area of composition; minor scratches, stains, and finish loss scattered throughout frame.
