Steve Perucca Offset Lithograph "Country Road"
Item Details
A signed limited edition offset lithograph on paper titled Country Road after a work by Indiana artist Steve Perucca (1941-2008). This work features a a dirt road surrounded by overgrown grass, trees, and a dilapidated fence. A printed caption to the lower margin provides the artist and title, and indicates that the work is from the artist’s American Scene Series. It is signed by hand in graphite to the lower right and numbered 44 out of an edition of 1000 to the lower left. The work is presented under glass with off-white matting; it is housed in a carved wood frame with a cherry finish and a gold-tone sight edge. A label from Galleries of Smith Tudor is present to the verso.
Condition
- small chips, scratches, and finish loss scattered throughout frame; frame is slightly separated at corners; split in frame wood along upper right edge.
