A Japanese folding screen. This screen features four folding panels decorated with a nature scene featuring red-crowned cranes painted over a gold-tone ground. The front side of the screen features an embroidered border with a floral motif and the reverse is finished with patterned paper. The screen is unmarked by the maker.
