A hand-knotted artificial silk Indo-Persian Kerman-style prayer rug. This wool rug features a color palette of aqua-blue, pastel peach, pink, mint, mauve,black and cream. It has an ogival mihrab arch under which branches of lobbed flowers and fern-like leaves sprout out from a large vase. Small songbirds and _boteh_motifs are interspersed throughout the foliage . It is framed with a border of linked floral vines. Finished with overcast selvedges and fringe to either end. Unlabeled.
