An antique 18th century porcelain figurine by Meissen. This figurine depicts a scholarly figure sitting at a small table and donned in an ornate cape with ermine. Produced during the ‘Dot’ or ‘Academic’ period, the figurine is marked with a blue crossed swords mark featuring a dot between the crosspieces, dating the piece to 1732 – 1773.

Condition

- to poor; some wear to base including chips to figures toes, loss of glaze throughout.
