A 1996 Royal Doulton Captain James Cook character jug. This limited edition glazed ceramic jug features a male figure dressed in a captain’s uniform presented in hues of yellow-gold, off-white, and dark blue. His grey curls are peaking out of his captain’s hat that is piped in a yellow-golden hue and adorned with an emblem to one side. The handle is shaped as a rolled map. Marked to the underside ‘Hand Made and Hand Decorated Royal Doulton, Captain James Cook (1728-1779), © 1996 Royal Doulton, Limited Edition of 2,500, This is No 187’. It is included with its original packaging.
