A crewel embroidery of flowers. This piece presents colorful flowers in a warm palette of reds, yellows, oranges and pinks nestled in green foliage. The embroidery is mounted in a wood frame without glass, and there are no apparent maker’s marks. Hanging wire is affixed to the verso.

- upper left joint of frame is loose; staining and discoloration to fabric; light fraying to surface.
