Vintage Murano Glass Blackamoor Figural Candlesticks

A pair of vintage Blackamoor figural candlesticks in Murano glass. Each piece depicts a figure, balancing a ruffled sconce in their right hand. They are clad in a fur lined cap, red vest, and draped azure pants, swirled with gold aventurine flecks. The figures are accented with an applied detail and draped, ruffled cuffs. They rest on fluted pedestal bases, finished with rough pontil marks. The candlesticks are composed in the style of Salviati of Murano, Italy, and are dated c. 1950s.
