Bombé Chest of Drawers

Item Details

A bombé chest of drawers featuring a faux leather covering with a craquelure lacquer finish. The chest has a rectangular top overhanging a pair of aligned drawers and two stacked drawers flanked by serpentine-shaped stiles embellished with gold painted, carved flowers and leaves. The drawer fronts have cast foliate handles and nailhead trims and the chest rises up on fluted bun feet. There are no visible maker’s marks.

Condition

A few scuffs around edges. A few nicks throughout specifically around left side and below bottom drawer.
