Item Details

A collection of three 19th century photographs. Featured in the lot is a portrait of three children by St. Louis photographer Julius Strauss (1857-1924). It depicts two girls with a boy standing between them, all holding hands. An inscription to the verso gives their names and dates the photograph to 1896. Also included is a matte collodion print of an older woman standing by a seated younger woman, and a gelatin-silver print of four women and two men. All three are presented with protective plastic.

- to fair; mark along the Julius Strauss piece; tears, wrinkles, and toning throughout.
