A 1985 etching on paper by artist Adrian Compton titled What the World Needs Now. The monochromatic print depicts a peaceful scene with a lion and a lamb gazing at one another against the backdrop of a bright sun. The image is titled, dated and signed in plate to the lower right. It is matted in grey and presented under glass in a black wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- moderate discoloration to image, with toning and mat burn; minor wear and scuffing to frame.
