1950s-Era Smith-Corona Silent Portable Typewriter with Case
Item Details
A Smith-Corona Silent typewriter, produced circa the early 1950s. This portable manual typewriter has a tan metal body with dark green plastic keys, is equipped with a tabulator and floating shift, and is presented in a black box-shaped carrying case. The cover plate has a silver tone metal ‘Smith-Corona’ logo, the paper rest is marked ‘Silent’ and the back of the machine is marked ‘L. C. Smith & Corona Typewriters Inc. Made in U.S.A.’
