Emperor Grandfather Clock

An Emperor grandfather clock. The clock has an oak wood case with other hardwoods and veneers and features a classic broken arch pediment with an urn finial and beveled edged bonnet. The case has turned side columns with corner blocks and a glass front door that displays a colorful moon phase dial with a clipper ship motif. The clock face is below with a silver-tone metal face and black Roman numerals highlighted with serpentine hands with raised brass spandrels on the corners and a brass center with a decorative design. Other features of the clock include a glass door to the center displaying a brass pendulum and cylinder weights on chains and the clock has a square, podium style base with inset panels and bracket feet.
