A 1996 limited edition artist’s proof sculpture in bronze titled Justice Poured from the Bottle by listed Utah genre artist Scott Rogers (b. 1961). Per the artist, this piece depicts an early 20th-century Western scene, with a falsely accused man about to be hanged by a group of drunken figures. The sculpture is signed ‘Scott Rogers’ in mold near the base, with an incised date and edition number of 1 out of 3 artists’s proofs. The piece rests on a wooden rotating base mounted to black metal pedestal stand. The wooden base is labeled with a metal plate that bears the artist’s name, as well as text of Rough Edges of the Law, the title of a separate Western-themed work by Rogers.
