Gorham "Chantilly" Sterling Silver Flatware Set

A set of sterling silver flatware by The Gorham Company. This set is in the Chantilly pattern which was first introduced in 1895 and designed by William C. Codman. This set includes eight dinner knives, one place knife, seven cheese knives, fourteen forks, seven soup spoons, and twenty tablespoons. The pieces are marked with make’rs marks and sterling marks to the underside. The set is presented with a wooden flatware chest lined to the interior in a maroon velvet-like lining. The total approximate weight excluding the hollow handled knives is 54.505 ozt.
