A United States forty-nine star flag. This five foot by eight foot United States flag was the official flag for only one year, from July 4, 1959 to July 4, 1960, and represents the admission of Alaska as a state. The flag features six white and seven red stripes with a blue canton with seven rows of seven white stars and two metal grommets in the hoist. The flag is presented in its original box.
