1946 Signed Marc Chagall Art Book

A signed first edition copy of Marc Chagall by James Johnson Sweeney, signed and dedicated by the artist to the front flyleaf. Russian-French artist Chagall (b. 1887- d. 1985) was an early modernist, and this book highlights some of his signature works. The cloth bound hardcover book was created in collaboration with The Art Institute of Chicago and published by The Museum of Modern Art in 1946.
