A signed limited edition offset lithograph after a work by contemporary American artist Dale Gallon titled Essayons: The Engineers at Fredericksburg. This panoramic print was published after an original oil painting commissioned by the Army Corps of Engineers depicting the 1862 scene from the East bank of the Rappahannock River as bridges are constructed under fire. The image is described in detail with an included essay to the along with a certificate of authenticity by Dale Gallon. The print is signed and dated ’95 in-plate to the lower right along with the artists signature and foil sticker in the margin. The print is unframed awaiting your choice of presentation.
