Vintage World War II Honorable Discharge Papers and Service Medals

A grouping of World War II service medals and honorable discharge papers. These metals and papers belonged to Alan Thonssen of Maryland. He served in the 29th and 569th Companies and ended the war as a Corporal, Technician Third Grade. He first took fire on the beaches of Normandy on D-Day and also served in Rhineland, Central Europe and Northern France. His honorable discharge papers are due to demobilization at the end of the second World War. Included in this group are division and regiment badges, American Defense Service Medal and corresponding pen, Good Conduct Medal, European African Middle Eastern Service Ribbon, Chesapeake & Potomac Telephone Co. Service lapel pins, dog tags, ID card, troop assignment card, service record, discharge papers and official discharge papers holder.
