G. Shearman Original 1958 Oil On Canvas Board "Cutty Sark"
Item Details
An original 1958 nautical oil painting on canvas board depicting a ship portrait titled Cutty Sark. The image depicts the famous double-masted British clipper ship, suggested by the title, sailing full-speed ahead on the rolling high seas. It is signed to the lower left in paint by artist G. Shearman. This work is mounted in a beveled wood frame with cast molding and a brilliant gold leaf finish. The wire attached to the verso makes it equipped to hang.
Condition
Slight wear to frame.
