Vintage Colonial Style Maple Hutch with Secretary

Item Details

A vintage Colonial style, soft maple hutch with a secretary in a mahogany finish having a beveled, rectangular cornice above a dentil trim and two hinged, and shaped doors fitted with beveled glass. These cabinet doors open to two glass shelves. The slant-top drops open to provide a writing surface equipped with a variety of open cubbies over three stacked drawers fitted with brass-plated, pierced, batwing bail hardware. The piece rests on bracket feet joined by a serpentine-shaped apron. There are no visible maker’s marks.
