A Kaiser Kuhn hand painted wood box lamp. The single light socket lamp with brass ball finial features a wooden box shaped body. To the front of the box, in a ‘primitive’ style is a hand painted still life of various fruit and greenery arranged on a table. The painting is rendered in colors of deep purple, tangerine, navy, shades of green, amber and cranberry, presented on a blue grey background. Embellishments featuring clusters of fruits are to the sides of the box and the left side panel is signed ‘D. Scott, 1989’
